In Fransisco at Google I/O 2012 Google has launched its Nexus 7 tablet.Its 8GB model is priced at £159 and 16GB at £199.Google Nexus 7 is one of those tablets that are powerful having cheap prices or you can say they will be when they enter the market.Its 8GB version is directly available on Google Play,however ASUS will deliver its 16GB version via its channels.It supports Google’s Android Operating system,Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.Its very light weight of just 340g and portable.It fits exactly in the hand having a tangible finish and artistic design.
Control-wise it has a resemblance with Galaxy S III as Nexus 7 also have with power button and volume controls on the right-hand side.At the bottom there is Micro-USB port and headphone jack and on the left a set of pogo pins for charging.Being an Android device its display is touch control.It offers a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel having 216ppi pixel density that makes the image crumbly and sharp.Its IPS display is so much electrifying and engaging having extensive viewing angle .ASUS has eliminated the gap between touch surface and the physical display and the performance is enhanced.Display is shinny and attracts the fingerprints but it can be easily cleaned.
Google Play Store is equipped with Music playback,that is of fine quality .It just has a front camera of 1.3-megapixel just for video calling and no rear camera.Don’t expect expect a very good image quality of getting high quality snaps from Nexus 7.
Nexus 7 is the best to experience the software like Jelly Bean.Navigating from apps and menu is quick and faster.Having quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 12 core GPU is astonishing on just a price of £159,offers an outstanding performance for Android.This Tablet could be the one that can left the Apple behind.Its so mush compact size makes it more reliable than the 10 inches tablets.Its small enough to carry away anywhere and big enough to experience media much better than the smartphones.
It has been ordered by many Geek lovers at the Google Play Store and it will be shipped in the July.
